Help Shape Our Future: Get Involved!
- Are you interested in health care and committed to ProHealth Care?
- Would you like to influence the programs and services we offer?
- Do you have ideas about ways to make health care more "patient-focused"?
If so, ProHealth Care has a variety of different ways for you to get involved:
1. Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Patient & Family Advisory Council
At Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, we put our patients and families at the center of all we do. To make sure we are meeting your needs, we need your help.
What services should we offer? What should visiting hours be? To answer those questions, we gather input from patients and the community for our decision-making. One way we make sure we do this in the best possible way is by consulting our Patient and Family Advisory Council.
The Council is currently recruiting new members who are interested in volunteering their time and talents as Patient and Family Centered Care Advisors. You can choose to participate at the level of your interest and availability by volunteering in one of several ways: Advisory Council Member, Department Advisors and Committee / Team Members, or Focus Group and Panelists.

Applications for membership on the PHCMA Patient Advisory Council are currently being accepted.
We are looking for patients who have:
- A positive approach and the ability to share and see many different points of view.
- Good listening skills.
- Enthusiasm for the clinic's mission of excellence in education, patient care and advocacy.
- Ability to share both positive and negative experiences in a constructive way.
- Ability to communicate and work with others whose backgrounds, experiences and styles may be very different from your own.
Advisory council members:
- Serve as a valued member of the Patient Advisory Council by guiding, collaborating and advocating for the integration of the core concepts of patient centered care into all aspects of ProHealth Care Medical Associates.
- Commit to 2 hours per month for a period of 1 year.
