Consider Getting a Stress Test

There are several different kinds of stress tests, each designed to reveal specific information about your heart during hard work or exercise. This test is usually given while you walk on a treadmill to monitor your heart's activity while you exercise. Breathing and blood pressure rates are also monitored.

A stress test may be used to detect coronary artery disease, and/or to determine safe levels of exercise following a heart attack or heart surgery.
