Diagnostic services for breast cancer

  • 3D breast tomosynthesis: A revolutionary advancement in the ability to detect breast cancer at the earliest stages.
  • Full-field digital mammography: A method where digital images are adjusted on a computer to enhance tissue differences and decrease the need for additional images.
  • Breast MRI: Produces high-resolution images of the breast using a magnetic field instead of radiation. This noninvasive, usually painless, medical test offers important information about many breast conditions that cannot be obtained by other imaging modalities, such as mammography or ultrasound.
  • Stereotactic & ultrasound needle biopsy The latest biopsy techniques combine precision digital X-ray and ultrasound imaging to pinpoint the area of concern.

Treatment services for breast cancer

  • Radiation Oncology including MammoSite : This is a a precisely targeted, high-dose radiation treatment option for women with breast cancer. By placing the radiation source in the space left where a tumor has been removed, MammoSite works from the inside to kill cancer cells. Treatment with MammoSite dramatically cuts the number of breast cancer treatments needed to just one week.
  • Medical Oncology: Cancer treatment services include chemotherapy, immunotherapy and drug therapy.
  • Breast Surgery: Includes lumpectomy, partial or segmental mastectomy or quadrantectomy, total mastectomy, modified radical mastectomy and radical mastectomy.
