Inquiries by the news media about the condition of a patient must contain the patient's first and last name, or no information can be provided. The hospital will provide the patient's one-word condition if the patient has not requested to be a confidential patient. If the patient has asked to remain confidential, we cannot confirm that we have a patient of that name at our hospital. ProHealth Care follows this procedure in compliance with state and federal patient confidentiality laws.
